META2007 - School & Workshop on “Mathematical Modeling of Tropical and Amazonian Ecosystems”

School.The school is mainly addressed to postgraduate students interested by “Mathematical Modeling of Tropical and Amazonian Ecosystems”. Lectures will be given by specialists on such topics like: Bioinformatics and Ecoinformatics, Population dynamics, Ecology and biological ressources, Mathematical epidemiology.
The working language of the school will be English.
A limited number of financial supports will be available.

Workshop. The workshop is concerned with any topic related to “Mathematical Modeling of Tropical and Amazonian Ecosystems”. All levels of organisation (integrative approach from gene to ecosystem), any kind of tropical and more especially amazonians ecosystems (forest, hydrosystems, coastal...) can be considered.
Sponsored by several institutions and NGOs, this meeting is interdisciplinary.
The official language of the workshop will be English.
Proceedings will be published.
